We have to
change our campsite today, but before we vacate site 28 gather a bowl of ripe
blackberries, yum. Site 19 is much more open but
really close to the laundry and showers etc.
Might as well take advantage of the close laundry to do the sheets and
towels.
I didn’t
tell you about my disaster on Saturday – I was still too cross with myself to talk about it! Anyway I used the vacuum cleaner to clean up the
dust etc as I screwing in the new vents. The cleaner is an upright and the hose is short so I sat the cleaner
on the drivers seat. Here’s the rub (pun
intended) the cleaner has rotating brushes on the bottom and unfortunately these did an
excellent job of rubbing and scuffing the seat material.
Every time I come in the coach the damage stares at me!! Kim found a repair man though (one who had been to our coach trying to give us a chair he had repaired - it was the wrong site) and he came this afternoon and repaired the seat. It’s nearly as good as new, but there is $120 less in the bucket! Would have much rather spent
that money on clothes or shoes or handbags!
Once again
the day just goes and it is soon happy hour which again convenes at Bobbi
&Tom’s (they are much closer now too) and we meet more of the RV group –
Tom and Judy. The sun comes out and we
have a very pleasant time chatting away.
This is L&L last night at this camp so we have dinner together and
end up watching some music DVD’s. A late but very enjoyable night!
Remember the Boeing Aircraft factory has tours. located in Everett not too far away if you get short of stuff to do.
