Netarts Bay OR

Fog blankets the area this morning, thick over the water. lesson the hills, but it soon clears.  We potter around and read for a while in the sun, then take the bikes off to explore.  There is a bit more sand along the road further but it is still not a beach you would spend a summer’s day at.

There is a restaurant two minutes up the road too and it is rather full, a good sign of food quality.  However, we are not eating out for a few days, we need to get through the supplies we've already bought.

We didn't bring them here, honest!

It's nice to famous for something but it's a pity we are famous for the NZ Mudsnail invasion. We have seen these signs on a few beaches now.

We lose the sun behind the trees on our site around 3 pm so we sit at an unused picnic table over the back for a while before coming in to start dinner.  A quiet night, just the waves breaking on the shore to lull us into the land of nod!
