We wanted to stay another day here at Glendo SP, it is so beautiful and secluded but woke to
misty rain so we are out of here. Packed up and on the
road by 10am, we want to get across to Colorado, planning on Fort Collins which
is where Kim's Harley spat the belt back on the bike trip. He reminds me there's a Harley dealer here who has $1,000 of our money!
We travel
south on the I25 and again there is not much to see, not even roadkill, just
dead tred. Did drive by a Budweiser factory though.

We do a shop
at Walmart (think we may have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms) and
try to find a Bank of America so I can bank a refund cheque. The GPS gave us a bum steer, there is no BofA in this city,
closest is down in Boulder CO, well south of here.
It’s been a
big day, with quite a few miles under our belt and about midday the day morphed
into sunshine so we head to Boyd Lake SP, another 15 miles south and find a nice
site overlooking the lake at Cottonwood Campground. It’s about 4 pm by the time we are set up so it's well past time to sit out in the sun and lax back a little!
Sun stays out but once it gets dark the wind comes up.
