Yay - we
didn’t need the duvet on last night!! It
was still cool in the am but we don’t care ‘cos we are on a mission this
morning. We have an appt. at Ray Jackman
Repairs so we get onto it early and are there by 10 am as planned. What awesome people, Steven and Ray could not
have done more for us. They went over
and above the call of duty and even sorted out for us where we could go to get
the ball joint which needs fixing/replacing/re-machined to save us a couple of
grand! Ray also loaned Kim his pair of
overalls while they were replacing the hydraulic bits and adjusting the
brakes. What an awesome company and
fabulous helpful people!!

We go back
to the Waterloo Campground as it was a lovely setting, only 3 miles away and we
don’t need to book. The afternoon is
about 28C – luvin’ summer again! We go
for a bike ride, walk down to the river where we see lots of kids, big kids too, in
blow-up apparatus floating down the river through the rapids but bailing before
the waterfall - we haven’t actually seen the waterfall yet but the signs promise
it is looming!
We get back to camp have
a cold drink around our picnic table, a read in the sun, dinner (delicious sweet
corn again, yum) and another day is done and dusted with good results.
Our plan tomorrow is to drive down to
Junction City which apparently is the RV repair capital of the world! Want to buy some gas struts for the storage underneath, an exhaust extension etc. We also need to make an appointment in to have
the ball joint/drag link repaired next week when we are down in Eugene.

Such a relief when you get help from helpful, obliging people!
